About
My goal as an is to capture and explore the power that the female form holds over me personally and over society in general. My vision is to have the power of the female form breathe life into the overall vista of each image.
My work is divided into 4 series of style:
The Gaea series of images “Mother Earth” created in the “great outdoors” tend to have a super-saturated, colorful painted quality to them as if the moment is somehow surreal.
On the other hand, the Concrete Angel series are images shot in and around human built constructions and are often set in stark black and white, in an attempt to strip away the veneer of civilization and show true raw emotion.
The Living Poetry series merges the aesthetics and artistic flow of poetry and the female form to make powerful statements within the image. The poetry enhances the woman and the woman enhances the poem.
The final series is the Inspiration series. An attempt to showcase the soul and energy of those I photograph. The background tends to be very simple, and the focus often is on the eyes of the subject, but always tries to tell a story.
Overall, my work is aimed at showing the almost overwhelming beauty of life, with life’s greatest beauty, the woman, as the centerpiece.
